
HIPAA Training
As our members know, the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) is committed to ensuring that Providers, both agencies and individuals, maintain the most up-to-date information, training, expertise, and quality with the changes in health care standards. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) will have dramatic impact on the way many of us conduct our business.
As a service to our members, the FPTA is pleased to make HIPAA Privacy training and compliance documents available through our partnership with Brandt Information Services, Inc., the developer of HIPAA Click and Comply.
HIPAA Click and Comply offers several annual subscription packages that provide tools and training to help you get ready for five of the requirements necessary to meet the mandatory April 14, 2003, compliance date for the HIPAA Privacy Rules. All documents and training are obtained over the Internet, and are easy to access and use.
